Chehra (Hindi for “face”) is a black, 240 GSM oversized French terry cotton T-shirt from Prithos, part of Drop 002: Kahan Se Aaye Ho.
The idea. One face for parents, one for friends, one for college, one for Instagram, one for the mirror at 2 am. This isn’t hypocrisy. It is the cost of living between demands that don’t agree. Chehra uses the visual language of Kathakali to say that carrying many selves is a skill, not a flaw.
The graphic. Only the left half of a face is drawn, in multi-colour illustration, from the shoulder to mid-chest. The right half is blank space: the garment is the missing half, and you complete it. Beneath it, a fine-line legend in museum-label style. CHEHRA appears in Devanagari at the back collar.
Fit. Oversized, boxy, drop-shoulder, 1-inch ribbed crew neck. A garment to wear with intention.
Fabric. 240 GSM, 100% cotton French terry, pre-shrunk, bio-washed.

FAQ
- What does Chehra mean? “Face”: the one you show, and the several you carry.
- Why is half the face missing? The blank half is deliberate. The garment, and you, complete it.
- Is this a costume or a mask? Neither. It is an illustration inspired by Kathakali, made with respect for the tradition.
