Independent social afforestation initiative

Before Drop 001, 200+ trees were reported planted with Asha ki Bagiya. This is an independent social afforestation initiative; tree planting is not presented as a product benefit or carbon offset.
Our stated program ratio is one planting funded per purchase. Each December, we report the total trees planted against sales accounted for during that calendar year. The count and ratio should be read with the supporting plantation records. This initiative is separate from garment materials, packaging, and product performance. Packaging Roadmap & Reality
Orders currently ship in standard moisture-resistant protective polybags to help protect heavyweight fabrics during transit. We do not currently use plastic-free or biodegradable packaging. Our active roadmap targets recycled kraft mailers by Drop 002 / late 2026; this is a future target, not a current packaging claim.

Circular Fashion
When a Prithos piece reaches end-of-life, use our four-step take-back process. Returned textiles are mechanically shredded and routed for upcycling into insulation or industrial fiber where accepted. Eligible returns receive store credit; handling depends on material condition and partner capacity.

Purchase to tree ratio
Our take-back program gives eligible Prithos garments a route after use. Return a worn piece so it can be assessed for material recovery. Product life depends on use and care; we do not promise a fixed number of wears.
Accepted textiles are mechanically shredded and directed to upcycling into insulation or industrial fiber where partner processes allow. Eligible returns receive store credit. The outcome depends on the item’s condition and available processing.
